For his Spring/ Summer 2012 Collection, Hernández Cornet sought inspiration from controlled and artificial nature, bonsai trees, constructed gardens, and 3D objects.
Created using natural materials like linen, printed silks, leather and denim, Cornet makes a statement with the juxtaposition of artificial textiles — a “slightly violent touch where some garments (have) been split open.” Political fashion? One can’t help but think so. Whatever the case, the line is a solid composition of quality, crafted design.
